Emily A. Nolfo, MD, FACP
Dr. Nolfo graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Russian Studies. She is proud to have been one of the first women freshmen accepted at Princeton. Dr. Nolfo received her M.D. from SUNY-Brooklyn in 1987 and completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at St. Francis Hospital-UConn in 1990. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, having recertified in 2016. She loves the variety of challenges in adult medicine. She believes in forging strong partnerships with her patients, using the best integrative care and in the power of prevention.
Dr. Nolfo is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Yale Medical School and Frank Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. She regularly teaches medical students in her office. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. ACP Fellows are distinguished doctors who have been recognized by their peers for their excellence in medical practice, teaching or research. Dr. Nolfo is also on the Executive Board of the Connecticut State and New Haven County Medical Societies.
Dr. Nolfo has lived in Guilford since 1978. She is married to Rob Nolfo, M.D., a pediatrician in practice in Guilford. She has two daughter and three granchildren.
She and her husband are members of the rock band, Take Two and Call Me in the Morning.
